890 format |
Top Previous Next |
The 890 format (also called Scantitling format) was created by Swedish subtitling software pioneer Cavena.
If you select this format Sub Machine saves time code, justification, color and italicization and color of each subtitle - and the contents of the two bottom lines only, so avoid using more than two lines!
Additional info is saved in a header. TitleVision's File/Properties is the equivalent of Scantitling's Info Page. To see how to edit this info, click here for font, and here for language, name of subtitler and company and here for several other options.
Use of characters is restricted to Western European alphabets. To see exactly what can be used, please check the file ScantitlingConversionTable.txt in your Titlevision Sub Machine folder subdirectory DATA.
