Ribbon menu: File/read alternate file

Read in text only from another file in one of the recognized formats, preserving the time code of the current work file. Very handy if you are working with different language versions. If the current work file is longer than the alternate file the original text will be preserved in the subtitles that are not overwritten. If the alternate file is longer than the current work file the extra subtitles will keep their original cues, if any.
